We are excited to introduce the inaugural MetalSwap Grant Cycle 1, set to kick off on September 1st and extend over a three-month duration.
This significant initiative represents a pivotal step in fortifying the development and expansion of the MetalSwap protocol. The Grant Cycle has been meticulously curated to allocate resources and expertise towards fostering innovation across three distinct categories of products and services, each holding paramount importance in shaping the trajectory of the MetalSwap Protocol.
1. Hedging Contracts Tool:
We invite proposals for the creation of an advanced Hedging Contract Tool, designed to empower users with comprehensive insights into tool payoffs. This entails enabling users to preconfigure Hedging Contracts, visualize payoffs through graphical representations, and monitor the Profit/Loss (P/L) of positions with underlying price fluctuations.
2. Financial Architecture Improvement:
We are soliciting proposals for a comprehensive mathematical and financial analysis of the Metalswap Protocol. The analysis should encompass evaluating financial risks, the pricing structure of Hedging Contract positions, the Liquidity Providing system, and ultimately proposing enhancements for the potential realization of Version 3 Smart Contracts.
3. Community Support:
Recognizing the instrumental role of the community in shaping the MetalSwap ecosystem, we seek active engagement and support across our designated social channels. Proposals are invited for effective community management on platforms such as Discord and Telegram, with a focus on addressing doubts, queries, and challenges related to the protocol.
Submission Guidelines and Evaluation:
Prospective contributors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals aligned with the outlined categories. These submissions will undergo rigorous evaluation by the MetalSwap Grant Program Review Board, adhering to the predefined evaluation criteria. Selected proposals will receive funding from the dedicated development fund and XMT tokens controlled by the DeFi Foundation.
